Donald Trump Diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency

President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition identified during an examination for minor swelling in his legs and bruising on one of his hands. The diagnosis was confirmed following an ultrasound and a comprehensive vascular study.

Chronic venous insufficiency is a common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70, where the veins in the legs are unable to effectively pump blood back to the heart, leading to blood stagnation. Despite the diagnosis, the White House has clarified that there were no signs of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or any arterial diseases.

The bruising observed on one of Trump's hands was attributed to minor soft tissue damage, reportedly sustained from frequent handshakes.

This health update follows a previous medical examination in April, during which his physician stated that Trump was in "excellent health." The diagnosis also comes amid past accusations from current Vice President Kamala Harris during the presidential campaign, who had suggested that Trump was concealing details regarding his health.
