💎 Bronze Age Treasures Stolen in Daring Museum Heist

In a shocking overnight robbery, priceless Bronze Age artifacts were stolen from one of Wales’ most prominent museums, according to police reports.

The theft occurred at the St. Fagans National Museum of History in Cardiff, where suspects forced their way into the main building and targeted a display case containing ancient gold jewelry. Among the stolen items were crescent-shaped gold ornaments known as lunulae and other rare pieces dating back nearly 3,000 years.

Authorities believe the heist was carefully planned. The suspects entered the museum around 12:30 a.m., bypassed security, and escaped with the artifacts before police arrived. Two men, aged 43 and 55, were arrested in connection with the theft, but the stolen items remain missing.

Detective Inspector Bob Chambers stated:

“At this time, we believe that two suspects forced entry to the main building, where several items, including Bronze Age gold jewelry, have been stolen from a display case.”

Museum Wales, which oversees the institution, has not disclosed the full list of stolen items due to the ongoing investigation. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The stolen artifacts are considered irreplaceable pieces of Welsh heritage, and experts warn that if sold or melted down, their historical value could be lost forever.
