Dobropillia, Donetsk Oblast – On the evening of July 16, 2025, Russian forces launched a KAB (guided aerial bomb) attack on the center of Dobropillia, a town in the Donetsk Oblast. The strike resulted in casualties and significant destruction.
According to volunteer Denys Khrystov (Holandets) and the Telegram channel "Dobropillia info," the attack occurred around 6:29 PM EEST. The bomb hit the "Aurora" store in the central part of Dobropillia. The volunteer stated that there were "many victims" as it was rush hour on the city's central street.
Dobropillia is located in the western part of Donetsk Oblast, more than 20 kilometers from the front line. The incident highlights the ongoing threat faced by towns and cities in the region despite their distance from active combat zones.
